Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026. The short version: LibreAI is a free guide, use it sensibly.

1. Acceptance

By using LibreAI you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What LibreAI is

A curated, editorial showcase of third-party open-source projects: summaries, install guides, and FAQs written by us. We are independent and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any listed project.

3. Intellectual property

Our summaries, guides, and design are our own. Project names, logos, and screenshots belong to their respective owners and are shown for identification under fair use / with credit. Star counts and stats are snapshots verified in October 2026 — live numbers on GitHub will differ.

4. Accounts

You may create an account to save favorites. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for activity under your account. Do not abuse the service (scraping at abusive rates, attempting to breach security, posting unlawful content).

5. Third-party software

Every tool is installed from its own official source under its own license. Always read a project's LICENSE before use — especially for commercial use. We make no promises about third-party software working, being safe, or being fit for any purpose.

6. Advertising

The site displays third-party advertising (Google AdSense). We do not control ad content; ad interactions are between you and the advertiser.

7. No warranty; limited liability

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the site or of third-party projects described here.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
