Download Logseq for Windows, macOS or Linux from logseq.com (Linux users can also use the install script in the README).
Point Logseq at a folder — new or an existing folder of Markdown notes. That folder is your graph; it stays plain files on your disk.
Start each day in the journal page, use [[page links]] and #tags as you write, and watch the graph and backlinks assemble your knowledge base for you.
Bullets, nesting and block references on top of local Markdown/Org files — no proprietary database.
Every link is bidirectional; the graph view shows how your notes connect, and unlinked references find hidden connections.
Built-in queries pull pages and to-dos together dynamically; tasks, flashcards and spaced repetition live in the same graph.
Local-first and offline-capable; sync is optional and your files remain readable in any text editor.
