Comment ça marche

  1. Install the desktop app

    Download Logseq for Windows, macOS or Linux from logseq.com (Linux users can also use the install script in the README).

  2. Open a graph (folder)

    Point Logseq at a folder — new or an existing folder of Markdown notes. That folder is your graph; it stays plain files on your disk.

  3. Write in journals, link everything

    Start each day in the journal page, use [[page links]] and #tags as you write, and watch the graph and backlinks assemble your knowledge base for you.

// fonctionnalités

Pourquoi on l'adore

Outliner over plain files

Bullets, nesting and block references on top of local Markdown/Org files — no proprietary database.

Graph and backlinks

Every link is bidirectional; the graph view shows how your notes connect, and unlinked references find hidden connections.

Queries and tasks

Built-in queries pull pages and to-dos together dynamically; tasks, flashcards and spaced repetition live in the same graph.

Private by architecture

Local-first and offline-capable; sync is optional and your files remain readable in any text editor.

// lancez-le

Lancez-le vous-même

  1. Download the app

    Desktop installers from the official site.

    https://logseq.com/downloads
  2. Linux install script

    From the README, for a scripted Linux install.

    curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/logseq/logseq/master/scripts/install-linux.sh | bash
  3. Open an existing notes folder

    Logseq reads standard Markdown — point it at a folder and your files become a graph, untouched on disk.

    File -> Open Graph -> choose folder

Questions fréquentes

Who makes Logseq?

The Logseq team and open-source community (logseq/logseq on GitHub), funded by sponsorships and an optional sync service.

Is Logseq free?

Yes — AGPL-3.0 licensed and free to use locally. Optional paid offerings (like hosted sync) exist for those who want them.

Where do my notes live?

In a folder of Markdown (or Org) files on your machine. You can open them with any editor; Logseq adds structure, not lock-in.

How does it compare to a well-known alternative?

Against Obsidian, Logseq is fully open source and outliner-first, with journals at the centre; Obsidian is page-first with a larger plugin marketplace and a commercial core. Against Roam Research, Logseq is the same outliner philosophy without the subscription or the cloud lock-in.

How do I get started?

Install the app, open a folder as your graph, and write your first journal entry with a few [[links]].
