The repo is the framework every Monid endpoint is described in.

Export a vendor key and call an endpoint through the engine, or browse the compiled catalog from the CLI.
A single base URL and key front tools from 72+ providers, so agents stop juggling per-vendor integrations.
Every connector declares its usage model; billing settles on the raw response, and vendor errors or unmatched lookups settle at zero.
A discover step ranks the catalog for each request, so the agent gets the endpoint that fits instead of a hard-coded one.
New providers are described, not coded: provider definition, shared zod schema fragments, endpoint schemas and recorded fixtures.

The connector layer in this repo is MIT-licensed and open source; tool usage through the Monid service is metered per call.
Running real endpoints uses vendor keys (your own, in this repo) or a Monid key on the hosted service; the offline test suite needs none.
OpenRouter unifies model APIs behind one key. Monid does the same for tools — search, scraping, enrichment, generation — with per-call endpoint ranking and declared per-connector pricing.
