Use your platform's package manager or download a pre-built binary from GitHub Releases and put it on your PATH.
On first run AIChat walks you through adding a provider - an API key for a hosted service, or a local Ollama endpoint if you want no key at all.
Ask a one-off question in CMD mode, open the interactive REPL for a longer session, and use shell-assistant mode to turn a task description into a command you can review and run.
